Natural Product Making Course at BFEI Night School

Overview

Learn how to make your own natural products from skincare to candles!
In this practical course Emma Hyland will be showing you how to make the products from scratch, talking you through what ingredients to use, their benefits and where you can source them. 
You will get to make and take home, moisturisers, lip balms, exfoliators, soaps and more. 

Emma has been a qualified Aromatherapist and making natural products for over 10 years “I love it and it’s so simple to do’. Featured on RTE AM where Emma tells the importance of knowing exactly what’s in your skincare or candles and how you can make them for a fraction of the price. Emma has been teaching product making workshops, through her business MuMe.ie, to many different groups of people for over 7 years from college students to large corporate groups and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience.

Additional costs for materials will be advised by the teacher in advance (Approximately 60-80€)

Course Structure

1 Introduction to essential oils, base ingredients and natural products
2 Body exfoliating scrub and facial oil
3 Soy wax candles and wax melts 
4 Lip Balm & eye gel
5 Cold pressed Soap Making
6 Solid/packaging free moisturisers

Learn the art of candle making and designing your own scent. During this wonderful practical workshop you will make a soy wax candle, wax melts and design the scent used, have a choice of containers and decorations so your creation will be truly unique and you will find out where to buy ingredients so you can make them again at home - they make beautiful gifts.
