This is a private one to one bespoke container candle making workshop specifically tailored for those thinking of starting a candle making business however if you would like to bring a friend or two you can book them in also (prices below).

No prior knowledge required.

This workshop can be held at my home in-person in Glenealy, Co. Wicklow, online or if you have a suitable venue you would like me to come to (depending on the location there may be travel costs involved).

During the 3 hours you will learn everything you need to know about making and selling candles in Ireland:
  • The step-by-step process of how to make a scented soy container candle, you will make two 170ml candles one with essential oils and one with fragrance.
  • Learn all about wicks and how to choose them.
  • Learn about the types of waxes are and how they differ.
  • The pros and cons of using essential oils v fragrance oils.
  • Where to purchase ingredients/equipment from.
  • Talk about your ideas for branding and target audience.
  • The percentage of scent in a candle.
  • How to correct problems that may occur when making candles.
